How it all began

Hello! Welcome to Acorns to Oak Trees where my mission is to help people find inspiration, new ideas, education and products to enrich their life.

 As a young child I learned the value of learning something new every day and striving to do my best. I have always been the type of person who is on the search for a better way of doing.... just about everything! 

The name Acorns to Oak Trees sprouted from my dad, he loved to carve wood, self-taught, and even carved a sign with hopes one day he would start his own business with the name.  However, this never came to fruition and my dad passed away this past year. I felt the name was fitting for my business as well.  Just as an acorn starts from a small seed, with nurturing and years of growth, it turns into a strong oak tree, able to withstand the changes and continue to grow.   

I can appreciate the analogy as I feel it relates to my life as well.  I love learning new things, it doesn't matter what it is, I always seem to take away some useful knowledge that will help me grow, mature and enrich life.
